Materi Microsoft Access : How to Split and Merge Database



How to to merge databases :
  1. Open the destination database (the database into which you want to merge other objects).
  2. On the External Data tab, click Access in the Import & Link group.
  3. In the Get External Data dialog box, click Import tables, queries, forms, reports, macros, and modules into the current database.
  4. Click Browse to locate the source database, and then click OK.
  5. In the Import Objects dialog box, select the object or objects  you want to merge, and then click OK.
  6. In the Get External Data dialog box, click Close.

How to split a database :
  1. Close all open database objects.
  2. On the Database Tools tab, in the Move Data group, click Access Database. If Access displays a security notice that shows the path to the file ACWZTOOL.ACCDE,  click Open to proceed and open the Database Splitter dialog box.
  3. In the Database Splitter dialog box, read through the information provided, and then click Split Database.
  4. In the Create Back-end Database dialog box, choose a location for the back-end file. By default, Access uses the current database name and adds _be to the end of the file name.
  5. Click  Split, and then click OK to close the message box.
