Materi Microsoft Access: backup and restore a database object from a backup



How to backup a database :
  1. Click the File tab, and then click Save As.
  2. In the Advanced list, click Back Up Database, and then click Save As.
  3. In the Save As dialog box, modify the file name that Access provides (or accept the  default name), and then click Save.

How to restore a database object from a backup :
  1. Open the database in which to restore an object.
  2. Using the Navigation pane, rename or delete the current instance of the object. (If you are restoring a missing object, you can ignore this step.)
  3. On the External Datatab, click Access in the Import & Link group.
  4. In the Get External Data dialog box, click Import tables, queries, forms, reports,  macros, and modules into the current database.
  5. Click Browse to locate the backup file you want to use, and then click OK
  6. In the Import Objects dialog box, select the object or objects you want to restore, and then click OK.
  7. In the Get External Data dialog box, click Close.
